“Social Media is the most powerful & effective medium
via which we can give wide dimension to our thoughts”, with this summarized overview
(given by Anupam Pandey, from Varanasi) “Samanvay-2015” (an event on
Print-Digital-Social media Inter-collaboration & its implications on each
other) organized at New Circuit House, Raipur.
People from different expertise areas joined the event &
shared their views in different session, on speaker notes. Starting with the
keynote session, Shri Mangal Senacha Ji (from Bengaluru) highlighted the points
about “Core & prolonged Journalism”. He also emphasized on “Co-ordination”
between all 3 channels of media (i.e. Digital, print & Social Media) which
will lead to spreading vital news in wide dimension with excellent inputs &
comments.
We need to formulate strategy for excellent designing &
content management for our newspapers, Shri Mangal Senacha said. Q/A session
occurred with him & audience which resulted-in, excellent answers. In the
end, Shri Mangal Senacha emphasized on “Presentation Strategy” which will
assure excellent delivery of news content.
Another session by Anupam Pandey (from Varanasi) comprised
of “Importance of Hash tag, his Social Media Experience & ideas for
inter-collaboration between all 3 channels of media”. Starting with “Social
Media Experience”, Shri Anupam Pandey shared more details about “Citizen Journalism, Election work experience & Social activities on ground as well
as his efforts for Varanasi Development”.
Anupam Pandey explained each & every aspect of “hash
tag” use on Social media as well as Digital Media. He also shared his “Storify Stories” which gave an excellent overview to audience in understanding the
importance of “hash tag” use. During Q/A session, Anupam Pandey informed
audience about development work done (in last 1 year) by PM Shri Narendra Modi.
He also requested everyone to make collective effort to assure “Excellent reach
of Information/News” with appropriate inputs.
In the end, Anupam Pandey shared his 45 Days Nepal
Earthquake experience & briefed audience about “what went good & what
went wrong” during “Rescue/ Relief operation. Finally, he ended sharing his
experience, regarding meet with Prime Minister of India on July 01, 2015.

Session by Shri Vikas Saboo (from Orissa) comprised of
Positive & Negative of all 3 channels. He explained how print & digital
media can give more strength to news which remains in the corner of the
newspaper with low-light. Additionally, he explained interconnectivity between
Digital, Print & Social media with few examples and emphasised on
strengthening the entire communication process as well as delivery design.
Presentation Session on 4CPlus website & related
software’s (fro Print& Digital Media) delivered by Shri Aashish Eran. He
explained each & every aspect of generating an excellent “E-paper” and
“News Display” view. During Q/A session he explained each & every query of
audience.
Presentation session on “Digital E-book” delivered by
Shridhar Ji (from Mumbai), where he explained each & every aspect of
representation of “E-paper” in the form of “Digital E-book” as well as wide
dimension of its implications.

Grateful thanks to team of Journalists (joined the event) from different media groups for their valuable inputs as well as incredible experience. I can say, its memorable event for me, especially interacting with Media people in such an excellent way.
With an excellent outcome & excellent inputs from
audience, 1 day seminar ended with new challenges for next seminar scheduled in
the month of August.
